What Google Maps can and can’t do on linfolio

Google Maps can help you find your business when you start, and while your page builds it can show what Google Maps lists, such as hours and phone, in its own card marked Google Maps. It is there for you to read and compare.

We don’t copy anything from that card into your page: you type your name, your number and your address yourself. There is no button that fills them in, by design.

If Google Maps lists a kind of business, the builder may mark it Suggested. Nothing is chosen until you tap it.

From Google we keep only the listing’s id, so your page stays linked to the right place. Not its details, its photos or its reviews, and nothing is kept on your phone.

Your page never shows Google photos or Google ratings.
